==Climbing history== Norsketinden was first climbed by a Danish–Norwegian expedition on 7 August 1954. The names 'Erik Rødes Tinde' or 'Eirik Raudes Tinde' —after Erik the Red, were proposed, but the peak was finally named Norsketinden.
