Nothingface was a nu metal band which formed in 1994 in Washington D.C., United States. For most of the band's career, the lineup consisted of Matt Holt (vocals), Tom Maxwell (guitar), Bill Gaal (bass) and Chris Houck (drums). The band released five albums - "Nothingface" (1995), "Pacifier" (1997), "An Audio Guide to Everyday Atrocity" (1998), "Violence" (2000) and "Skeletons" (2004) - before disbanding in 2004. Nothingface es el quinto álbum de estudio de la banda canadiense de thrash metal y metal progresivo Voivod, editado en 1989 por el sello MCA Records. Este álbum marcó un cambio de dirección en cuanto al estilo de la banda se refiere, ya que expandieron su sonido y exploraron el metal progresivo con mayor fuerza que en su anterior trabajo, Dimension Hatröss. Es, además, el único álbum de Voivod que alcanzó a entrar en la lista del Billboard 200, en el puesto 114.
