Numb3rs è una serie televisiva statunitense prodotta dai fratelli Ridley e Tony Scott. Il telefilm è incentrato sull'agente speciale dell'FBI Don Eppes (Rob Morrow) e sul suo giovane fratello Charlie Eppes (David Krumholtz), genio matematico che aiuta Don a risolvere i suoi casi. È ambientato a Los Angeles. La serie è stata creata da Nicolas Falacci e Cheryl Heuton, prodotta dalla Paramount Network Television e trasmessa dalla rete CBS a partire dal 23 gennaio 2005. In Italia è trasmessa dalla rete satellitare Fox Crime e, inoltre, dalla rete terrestre Rai 2 (che l'ha inizialmente sospesa dopo quattro episodi per bassi ascolti per poi riprendere la programmazione successivamente). Il 18 maggio 2010, la CBS ha ufficialmente cancellato la serie dai palinsesti al termine della sesta stagione. Numb3rs ha vinto numerosi premi, tra cui il premio Carl Sagan per la comprensione pubblica della scienza nel 2006, e il National Science Board's Public Service Award nel 2007.
