Ersterwähnung: 1275 Kirche und Schule: Seit 1275 nachweisbar Pfarrkirche (St. Bartholomäus), Neubau von 1762, Saal mit halbrundem Chor und Emporen über Sakristeien. Gute Ausstattung aus der zweiten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts. 1324 Tertiarinnenkonvent bei der Kirche. Die Evangelischen zu Wolfach. Patrozinium: St. Bartholomäus Ersterwähnung: 1275
