==Name== The name Obolno follows an adjectival declension ( Obolnega, na Obolnem). It is believed to derive from Common Slavic *abolьnъ 'apple', referring to the local vegetation. In the local dialect, the name is pronounced abau̯nə̏ ( abúnəga, na abúnəm).
