Okaya (岡谷市, Okaya-shi) is a city located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 February 2019, the city had an estimated population of 48,616 in 19,257 households, and a population density of 570 persons per km². The total area of the city is 85.10 square kilometres (32.86 sq mi).
