Olean ist eine Stadt im US-amerikanischen Bundesstaat New York mit ca. 14.000 Einwohnern (2012). Olean hat heute nur noch einen Bruchteil der Einwohnerschaft der 1950er Jahre, als seine Zeit als „Boomtown“ zu Ende ging. Dennoch ist Olean bis heute das wirtschaftliche und kulturelle Zentrum des im Westen des Staates gelegenen Cattaraugus County.
