Orelsan is the stage name of Aurélien Cotentin (born August 1, 1982), a French hip hop and rap artist. His music is often described as conscious rap. He started getting famous by posting videos on his Myspace. The song “St valentin” is one of the songs that made him known then followed by other bangers like “Changement”(=change) in 2008. He is also one half of the French hip hop duo Casseurs Flowters, along with Gringe, with whom he has released two studio albums: Orelsan et Gringe sont les Casseurs Flowters in 2013, and the original soundtrack for their 2015 film Comment c'est loin''.
