Orest Alexandrovich Evlakhov (4 January 1912, Warsaw - 15 December 1973, Leningrag) was a Russian Soviet composer and music teacher. Evlakhov studied composition at the Leningrad Conservatory under Dmitri Shostakovich, he graduated in 1941. In 1960 he became a professor at the conservatory and in 1971 he became head of the composition department.
