Ostravice (, ) is a municipality and village in Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,600 inhabitants.
==Geography== Ostravice is located about south of Frýdek-Místek and south of Ostrava. It lies in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids. The highest point is next to the top of Lysá hora at above sea level. The municipality is situated in the valley of the Ostravice River.
