Otto-Ernst Remer est un officier de la Wehrmacht pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, né le 18 août 1912 à Neubrandenbourg et mort le 4 octobre 1997 à Marbella. Il est connu pour son rôle clé dans l'échec et la répression du complot du 20 juillet 1944 contre Adolf Hitler. Après la guerre, il devient activiste et homme politique d'extrême droite ; il a cofondé le Sozialistische Reichspartei (SRP) et adopté des positions négationnistes. Après 1952, poursuivi par la justice allemande, il s'exile et va conseiller des puissances étrangères, notamment arabes. De retour en Allemagne dans les années 1980, il est à nouveau poursuivi et s'exile à nouveau.
