Il film (pur non riconoscendolo nei credit) è chiaramente riconducibile ai racconti di Ward Moore pubblicati nell'agosto 1953 su Fantasy and Science Fiction Lot, cui seguì nell'ottobre 1954 Lot's Daughter.
