La società ha interessi nel settore cinematografico, televisivo, editoriale e nei media digitali. Paramount è proprietaria di Paramount Pictures, CBS, MTV, Nickelodeon, BET, Comedy Central, Paramount+, Showtime, Pluto TV, Simon & Schuster e di una partecipazione del 50% in The CW (joint venture con Warner Bros. Discovery). Attraverso Paramount Networks International, è proprietaria delle reti Channel 5 (Regno Unito), Network Ten (Australia), Telefe (Argentina) e Chilevisión (Cile).
