Paul Müller-Zürich (actually Paul Müller; * 19 June 1898 in Zurich; † 21 July 1993 in Lucerne) was a Swiss composer. He studied with Philipp Jarnach and Volkmar Andreae at the Zurich Conservatory, then with Jean Batalla in Paris. From 1927 to 1968 Müller-Zürich taught music theory at the Zurich Conservatory (among his students was the composer Hermann Haller). As a teacher, conductor, composer and organizer, he was one of the most important personalities of Swiss musical life in the 20th centur
