Pecixe is a coastal island in Guinea-Bissau, belonging to the Cacheu Region and the Caió sector. Its area is 167 km2. The island has a population of 3,207 (2009 census); the most populous village is Cassaca. The language of the island is reported to be Mandjak, a language of Guinea-Bissau with over 72,000 speakers altogether. Jeta island lies to the west. It is 3 km off the mainland, about 50 km west of the capital city Bissau.
Pecixe é uma ilha costeira que faz parte do , pertencente à região do Cacheu, sector de Caió, na Guiné-Bissau.Tem uma área de 168 km2, 20,6 km de comprimento máximo e 12,8 km de largura máxima. Em 2014 contava com 6.500 habitantes, dos 1436 eram crianças. A principal localidade é a vila e secção de , havendo também as localidades de Cassagá e Bieu. A linguagem falada na ilha é o , uma das línguas da Guiné-Bissau, contando actualmente com cerca de 72.000 falantes.
