Penelope Lively

Penelope Lively is a British writer, novelist, and children's author who began her work period in 1970. She is a member of the Royal Society of Literature and has been recognized in the Booker Prize collection. Her notable works include *Moon Tiger*, *ha-Tatslum*, *Disastrous Dog*, *Good night, sleep tight*, *En busca de una patria*, and *City of the mind*. She writes in the English language and is associated with the genres of children's literature and fantasy.

Born in Cairo in 1933, Lively resides in London. She was educated at St Anne's College and has two children. Her archives and personal library are held at the Harry Ransom Center.
