Philippe Auguin (born 1961 in Nice) is a French conductor. He studied horn and singing at the Conservatory of Nice. He also completed an additional conducting studies. It was followed by further years of study at the Vienna Academy of Music which he completed in 1988. Philippe Auguin was an assistant to Herbert von Karajan for three years, before working closely with Sir Georg Solti.
