HD 192263 ist ein Stern der achten Helligkeitsklasse im Sternbild Aquila. Es handelt sich um einen Hauptreihenstern der Spektralklasse K0. Der Stern ist somit etwas kühler und etwas weniger hell als unsere Sonne. Mit sehr guten Ferngläsern und Teleskopen ist der Stern nachts gut auszumachen. HD 192263 ist ein BY-Draconis-Veränderlicher. Immer wieder wurden Entdeckungen von Begleitern des Sternes verkündet, die sich im Nachhinein jedoch nicht bestätigen ließen. Die Tatsache, dass der Stern sich praktisch auf der Äquatorebene der Erde befindet, mag hierzu beigetragen haben. Seit 1999 ist jedoch klar, dass HD 192263 von mindestens einem Planeten umkreist wird.
