Pierre Guédron was a French composer, singer and singing teacher born in Châteaudun about 1570 and dead in Paris about 1620. First Pierre Guédron was singer in the chapel of Louis II de Lorraine (called Cardinal de Lorraine, Cardinal de Guise), and then, after the assassination of the cardinal in 1588, he became cantor of the Royal Chapel. Become one of the most important musical personalities in the court of the king Henry IV of France, Guédron composed many tunes and court ballets. <a href="ht
