After being disenchanted with the false promise of riches after completing high-school, Grandmaster Pink, Tabius, (not so sober) Dexy, Alex, Sebby and Gregory decided, in the summer of 2003, to form a rock n' roll band with which to claim their fame and fortune. After a fateful jamming session the new band was named after the tape the band was recording themselves onto. The tape was pink in colour.
