Sign in to savePinya (), or Vijayapura, was the capital of the Kingdom of Pinya, located near Ava, Mandalay Region, Myanmar. It was the residence of the Pinya dynasty who ruled this part of central Myanmar from 1313 to 1365. It was founded by King Thihathu as Wizayapura (, ) on 7 February 1313.

Pinya (birman ပင်းယ) est l'ancienne capitale du Royaume de Pinya, en Birmanie (République de l'Union du Myanmar). Située sur la rive orientale de l'Irrawaddy, près d'Ava, dans l'actuelle Région de Mandalay, elle fut la résidence de six rois qui régnèrent sur la Birmanie centrale de 1312 à 1364.
