PlanetSide 2 — компьютерная игра жанра MMOFPS от компании Daybreak Game Company, анонсированная 7 июля 2011 на ежегодном SOE Fan Faire. Является ремейком PlanetSide. В 2011 году прошло бета-тестирование игры в Европе. Релиз PlanetSide 2 состоялся 20 ноября 2012 года. В декабре 2012 о начале локализации игры в России заявила компания «Иннова». Игра выпущена с бизнес-моделью Free-to-play, то есть игрокам не придется вносить абонентскую плату.
