Portable Software (über französisch portable aus lateinisch portare ‚[mit sich] tragen‘), auch Standalone-Software oder (USB-)Stick-Ware genannt, ist Software, typischerweise Anwendungssoftware, die ohne weitere Anpassungen oder Einrichtung (Installationen) auf verschiedenen Rechnern läuft. Sie kann zum Beispiel auf einen Wechseldatenträger übertragen (oder kopiert) und von dort aus auf jedem (kompatiblen) Rechner ausgeführt werden, ohne sie auf diesem zu installieren.
