ProSieben es un canal de televisión privado de Alemania, que emite en abierto a nivel nacional. Emite una programación generalista, especializada en series de ficción, películas y programas de entretenimiento. Desde el año 2003 pertenece a ProSiebenSat.1 Media, que también gestiona los canales Sat.1, Kabel eins y Sixx. El canal comenzó sus emisiones en 1989, a través de la frecuencia de . Al igual que otros canales de la televisión privada germana, ProSieben creció gracias al desarrollo de la televisión por cable y satélite, con una programación especializada en cine. Con el paso del tiempo, se convirtió en un canal generalista que también desarrolló producción propia. Actualmente, es el tercer canal privado con más audiencia de Alemania, por detrás de RTL y Sat.1. Existen versiones de ProSieben para Austria y Suiza, que cuentan con programas propios y desconexiones publicitarias.
