The habitat consists of open grassy and marshy habitats in tropical savanna and open forests.

The habitat consists of open grassy and marshy habitats in tropical savanna and open forests.
The larvae feed on Dissotis species (including D. denticulata) and possibly Antherotoma naudinii.
