Putatan ist eine Kleinstadt im malaysischen Bundesstaat Sabah und gehört zum gleichnamigen Verwaltungsbezirk Distrikt Putatan. Putatan grenzt direkt an Kota Kinabalu und hat damit quasi den Status einer Vorstadt.
