Puybarban (; ) is a commune in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France.

==Geography== The commune of Puybarban is located south (left bank) of the Garonne, but does not border it, being separated from the river by the commune of Floudès. It is 60 km southeast of Bordeaux, the departmental capital, 16 km east of Langon, the arrondissement capital, and 9 km northeast of Auros, the former cantonal capital.
