==History== In 1911, a stone marker was placed by the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey (USGS), now National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), at Luzon Datum or Station Balacanan, Mt. Mataas, Barangay Hinanggayon to indicate the geographical center of the Philippines. The site was commemorated by a historical marker installed in August 9, 2011.
