==Music career== ===Music beginnings=== Born in Decatur, Illinois, Rasheeda moved to Atlanta at 14 and later graduated from North Clayton High School. She started her music career as a member of the female hip-hop trio Da Kaperz, which received attention in Atlanta in 1998. In 2000, she launched her solo career.
