7.4Beautiful young manicurist Carole suffers from androphobia (the pathological fear of interaction with men). When her sister and roommate, Helen, leaves their London flat to go on an Italian holiday with her married boyfriend, Carole withdraws into her apartment. She begins to experience frightful hallucinations, her fear gradually mutating into madness.

Repulsión es una película de terror psicológico británica de 1965 dirigida por Roman Polanski, y con actuación de Catherine Deneuve, Ian Hendry, John Fraser, y . Filmada en Gran Bretaña, fue el segundo largometraje de Polanski, después de Nóż w wodzie, y el primero en idioma inglés. La película se estrenó en el Festival de Cannes de 1965 antes de ser estrenada en cines a nivel internacional. Tras su estreno, Repulsión recibió considerable aclamación de la crítica y actualmente se la considera como una de las mejores películas de Polanski. La película fue ganadora del premio Oso de Plata y del premio en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Berlín 1965.
