Resafa (arabisch الرصافة, DMG ar-Ruṣāfa) ist eine Ruinenstadt in der Wüste im Norden Syriens, die in der Spätantike den Namen Sergiopolis trug. Aus dieser Zeit stammen die erhaltenen Gebäude und die Stadtmauer. Resafa war seit dem 4. Jahrhundert ein bedeutendes christliches Pilgerziel und im 6. Jahrhundert ein militärischer Posten der östlichen syrischen Provinzen.
