==History== The municipality of Rietz-Neuendorf was formed on 31 December 2001 by merging the municipalities of Ahrensdorf, Birkholz, Buckow, Drahendorf, Görzig, Groß Rietz, Herzberg, Neubrück (Spree), Pfaffendorf, Sauen and Wilmersdorf.
