Romont ([ʀɔˈmɔ̃]; Freiburger Patois ) ist eine politische Gemeinde und Hauptort des Distrikts Glane des Kantons Freiburg in der Schweiz. Der frühere deutsche Name Remund wird heute nur noch selten verwendet. Das historische Städtchen mit Umfassungsmauer wurde auf einem Hügel im oberen Glânetal erbaut.
