He is widely considered as one of the greatest players in Counter-Strike history, particularly in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), having been ranked the No. 1 player in the world by HLTV in 2018, 2021 and 2022.
s1mple’s peak form, particularly from 2018 through 2021, saw him dominate the global scene with a hyper-aggressive style, exceptional mechanical skill, game sense, and consistency across all roles and weapon types, earning him multiple MVP (Most Valuable Player) awards at premier tournaments and setting numerous statistical records. He was instrumental in leading Natus Vincere (Na’Vi) to victory at several major international events, including the PGL Major Stockholm 2021, where he secured his first Major title and was named MVP.
