Saepinum (modern Altilia, near Sepino) was a Samnite town that later became a Roman municipium. Located approximately south of the modern city of Campobasso in south-central Italy, Saepinum lay on the ancient road connecting Beneventum (modern Benevento) to Corfinium (modern Corfinio).
