Sakura (佐倉市, Sakura-shi; Japanese pronunciation: [saꜜ.kɯ.ɾa, sa.kɯ.ɾaꜜ.ɕi]) is a city located in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 November 2020, the city had an estimated population of 173,740 in 78,483 households and a population density of 1700 people per km (4300 per sq. mi.). The total area of the city is 103.59 square kilometres (40.00 sq mi).
