Samuel E. Wright (born on November 20, 1946 in Camden, South Carolina, death announced May 24, 2021 in Walden, New York) was an American actor who voiced Sebastian the crab in Disney's The Little Mermaid. He also was nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical as the original lead actor for Mufasa in The Lion King, the Broadway version of Disney's classic The Lion King. Wright played the Purple Grapes for Fruit of the Loom underwear commercials and he played Enos' partner Tu
