Sandra Ann Lauer (Sarrebruck, 18 de mayo de 1962), más conocida por su nombre artístico de Sandra, es una cantante pop alemana-francesa de gran éxito europeo en la década de 1980 y comienzos de la de 1990. Fue producida por su entonces futuro marido y compañero musical Michael Cretu. Su éxitos internacionales incluían sencillos como «(I'll Never Be) Maria Magdalena» (1985), «In the Heat of the Night» (1985), «Hi! Hi! Hi!» (1986), «Everlasting Love» (1987), «Heaven Can Wait» (1988) e «Hiroshima» (1990). Sus álbumes más reconocidos fueron Into a Secret Land (1988) y Close to Seven (1992). Antes de embarcarse en su propia carrera en solitario, Sandra ya había formado parte como vocalista principal del trío femenino de música disco Arabesque, con la que tuvo un seguimiento masivo sobre todo en Japón.
