Schneefernerkopf

The Schneefernerkopf is a peak in the Zugspitze massif in the Alps. It lies at the western end of the Wetterstein chain in the Alps on the border between the German state of Bavaria and the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is the dominant mountain in the Wetterstein, especially when viewed from Ehrwald.

Schneefernerkopf – szczyt w paśmie Wettersteingebirge, w Alpach Bawarskich. Leży na granicy między Austrią (Tyrol), a Niemcami (Bawaria). To drugi pod względem wysokości szczyt Wettersteingebirge. Leży w tym samym masywie górskim co Zugspitze. Pod szczytem leży lodowiec Schneeferner. Pierwszego wejścia, w 1871 r., dokonał Hermann von Barth.
