Schweich (von kelt. Soiacum) ist eine Stadt an der Mittelmosel im Landkreis Trier-Saarburg in Rheinland-Pfalz im moselfränkischen Sprachraum. Schweich ist der Verwaltungssitz der Verbandsgemeinde Schweich an der Römischen Weinstraße, der die Stadt und 18 eigenständige Ortsgemeinden angehören. Ein Stadtteil von Schweich ist Issel. Schweich ist gemäß Landesplanung als Grundzentrum ausgewiesen.
