Scott 4 were formed in 1995 by Scott Blixen, Ed Tilley and John Moody. Their first Mini LP, the beautifully titled Elektro Akoustic und Volksmechanic, came out on Satellite/Soul Jazz and was righty loved by the NME and other critics. The band had by that point established themselves as a formidable live act on the London scene.
