His genealogy includes General Omar Bradley. He is most famous for scoring the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (M-G-M) theatrical cartoons, including those starring Tom and Jerry, Droopy Dog, Barney Bear, and the many one-shot works of Tex Avery.
