Scott Reeder's career started when he began playing with Scott Wino in The Obsessed. Following this short venture, Reeder filled in the vacant bassist position in Kyuss left behind by Nick Oliveri. He played in Kyuss from 1993 till the band broke up in 1997. Following Kyuss, Reeder began to dabble more in the production side of the music industry. Albums of note include Orange Goblin's Coup de Grace, Sunn O)))'s Black One, and even produced the sound track to cult film "2 Days in the Valley".
