Securitisatie (ook wel geschreven als securitizatie), ook effectisering of vertiteling genaamd, is een financiële techniek waarbij niet- of moeilijk verhandelbare activa worden samengevoegd tot verhandelbare effecten (met een Engelse term securities). Financiële instellingen en bedrijven van alle soorten gebruiken securitisatie om de huidige waarde van toekomstige kasstromen direct te realiseren.
