Sergejs Jegers is a latvian countertenor. He was born in Riga, Latvia, and graduated from the Latvian Academy of Music in 2003, where he studied under Karlis Zarins and Andris Veismanis. He currently studies as a counter tenor with Andreas Scholl at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Switzerland) and continues his Masters degree studies as a countertenor at the Latvian Academy of Music.
