It covers an area of 28.27 km2, and had a population of 137,212 at the 2010 Census and 154,744 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 163,451. Dozens of entertainment venues, malls, and crowded centers have sprung up in Serpong. BSD City is located within this district.
