Showrunner é, em televisão, um termo em inglês que define um encarregado ao trabalho diário de um programa ou série de televisão, e que visa, entre outros, dar coerência aos aspectos gerais do programa. O termo é quase restrito aos Estados Unidos e Canadá. Geralmente este cargo é ocupado pelo criador do programa. Deveres de um showrunner frequentemente incluem aqueles tradicionalmente atribuídos ao escritor, produtor executivo e editor do roteiro.
