Sign in to saveSimosuchus is an extinct genus of notosuchian crocodyliforms from the Late Cretaceous of Madagascar. It is named for its unusually short skull. Fully grown individuals were about in length. The type species is Simosuchus clarki, found from the Maevarano Formation in Mahajanga Province, although one isolated multicuspid tooth of this genus was discovered in Kallamedu Formation of India.

السيموسوكس (Simosuchus) (بمعنى «التمساح الأفطس» باللغة اليونانية، في إشارة إلى الخطم الحاد للحيوان) هي فصيلة منقرضة من أشباه التمساحيات النوتوسوكيا من العصر الطباشيري المتأخر في مدغشقر. كان هذا الحيوان موضوع العديد من الدراسات في السنوات التالية لوصفه، وقد تم تجميعها في عام 2010 في ملحق لمجلة (Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology).
