Širvintos () is a city in Vilnius County in eastern Lithuania. It is the administrative center of the Širvintos district municipality.
== Etymology == The town's name is a place name derived from the river Širvinta, which flows through it. Širvinta river name itself derives from the adjective širvas, which refers to the grey colour of the Širvinta river waters. In the interwar period, the town was known as Širvintai.
