Sociometry is a quantitative method for measuring social relationships. It was developed by psychotherapist Jacob L. Moreno and Helen Hall Jennings in their studies of the relationship between social structures and psychological well-being, and used during Remedial Teaching.

Socjometria jest to metoda badawcza w socjologii i psychologii społecznej polegająca na badaniu struktur władzy i komunikacji pomiędzy w populacji. Przeważnie badane są relacje komunikacji jednostek w grupie lub relacje władzy i współpracy. Podobną do socjometrii, lecz bardziej rozbudowaną metodą jest analiza sieciowa.
